Spoil Yourself with a Kenya Safari

Tired of the hustle and bustle of the city life?

Longing for a fantastic and unique getaway vacation?

Let me give you some tips that you would surely be thankful for. Many of us are busy working 8 hours (sometimes even 10+ hours) a day, 5 days a week.  There comes a point where you may feel really felt burnt out. Everyone deserves to play sometimes right? So searching for vacation packages on the net, I found some pretty common and unexciting travel ideas but found others that seem just marvelous.

If you have been longing for an unforgettable and unique adventure, why not try Africa?

So by browsing the Internet for safaris and other African travel packages you will notice that most sites are focused on safaris in Kenya. Being so intrigued to get on an African adventure I looked at many different travel packages.

The first one explored was a 14-day Kenya Travel Explorer package. You will land in Nairobi (Kenya’s Capital), which is quite impressive with the beauty and the exotic nature of the place. The first stop on the trip is in a tree lodge located in Mt. Aberdares, wherein you could overlook the different sizes of waterholes, inhabited by different kinds of exotic animals like giraffes, rhinos, antelopes and warthogs. The next day, you can have the most exhilarating experience of standing at the equator!

Imagine standing at something you only see on globes in History class!

Then you are able to drive to Lake Naruru, where you can see thousands of pink flamingos and other wild animals like lions and hippos. After that you are off to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, where you can see the cheetahs, and other wild animals like hyenas and elephants. But the most exciting thing is when you are able to eat at a carnivore restaurant.  This is where they serve roasted zebra, ostrich and other games available in the park. It truly seems like an adventure and one you wouldn’t dare to forget, and most likely would come back for more.

Although examining just one Kenya Safari, uncovering some of the other Safari destinations that were found online was very exciting. By researching you will find other best Kenya safaris and see that there are 11-Day Kenya Wildlife and Beach Safaris, whose itinerary includes a few days of sun and sand in Mombasa, Kenya’s second largest city, located in the shores of the Indian Ocean. Also, you will find what is called a 12-Day Kenya’s Finest, this package includes flying across the Great Rift Valley, and meeting the proud Maasai warriors, Kenya’s most famous ethnic tribes.

Last but not the least is the 15-Day Kenya and Tanzania Treasures which seems to be one of the biggest safaris of all with the longest itinerary. This includes trips in Serengeti National Park, the most famous wildlife park in Tanzania. This is where you could take on a wild balloon safari, and Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania. The itinerary also includes tours in Amboseli National Park in Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak, and Nairobi National Museum and Snake Park. You may have a hard time deciding since Africa has many places of interest and beauty but you will be sure to experience an adventure of a lifetime on an African Safari.

Safari Tanzania An Adventure of a Lifetime

Still looking for that once in a lifetime adventure?

Well, the search is over.

Safari Tanzania gives you the different flavours of Africa: exotic wildlife in their natural habitat; the wonder of nature in Mount Kilimanjaro and the true sense of adventure with Tanzania’s game parks. So, go ahead, pack up your bags and prepare to be mesmerized by the beauty of Tanzania!

The excitement might be unbearable, but it is very important to know several things first before boarding a trip to Tanzania. So what are the must-be’s when preparing for your Tanzanian safari?

First things first, you have to keep in mind that the temperature in Africa is not that cool, so it is very important to bring casual summer clothes if you wish to  schedule your safari sometime between October to April. Casual light clothing are fine if you would like to do your safari between the months of May-September, but do not forget to bring a jacket, some scarves and gloves for the chilly mornings. Don’t forget your comfortable walking shoes and boots, just in case you plan to do some bush walking. You would also need some protection against the sun, like sun hats, sun block creams and lip balm. Most importantly, do not forget your camera or video cameras; otherwise, you’re losing a great opportunity to record such a great adventure. Safari Tanzania will surely inspire even the most amateurish photographer with its vibrant colours and textures.

Once you’re set, it is time to get to know the lay of the land.

Safari Tanzania takes you to the famous Serengeti Game Reserve, where you could watch the spectacular migration of zebras and wildebeests, also called “The Great Migration”. Enjoy watching exotic animals like elephants, hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs, lions and wildebeests; that simply shine in their natural habitats. Get historically sublime with Ngorongoro conservation area, where you could find some of the oldest remains of early human tribes. This area is also famous for the great crater, the world’s largest crater, where different species of animals thrive.

Enjoy a wide variety of bird species on Lake Manyara National Park, where you could also find lions and leopards lounging in trees. A Ngorongoro and Serengeti tour will never be complete without a trip to this beautiful park. Offering a wide array of archaeological finds within the Ngorongoro area is Olduvai Gorge Archaeological Excavation Museum. Located inside the Ngorongoro conservation area, the museum features artifacts dated millions of years ago, found within the Olduvai Gorge area. This displays the rich ethnic history of Tanzania.

Accommodations would mostly be luxury lodges or camping sites, depending on your taste. You can either stay at a luxury lodge, where you could experience the Tanzanian nightlife or enjoy the unique experience of staying on a camping site and stargazing at night.

With this itinerary in hand, Safari Tanzania is something that shouldn’t be missed. The perfect getaway for you and your whole family, Safari Tanzania will definitely bring you the adventure of a lifetime!
