Skeleton Coast
Although quiet and uninhabited, this area has a multitude of activities. Take a guided tour through the area by vehicle or walking tour across the rugged terrain. View the spectacular rare foliage and the massive clay structures which have developed over millions of years. You may catch a glimpse of springbok, jackal, or brown hyena and the freshwater springs that sustain them. See a seal colony tucked away in the rock outcrops of the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the Himba, an ancient people who maintain traditional housing, adornments and hairstyles. The Himba are the only people you will see other than those on your tour group.
