Cairo
Travel to the best-known ancient wonders of the world, the legendary Pyramids of Egypt. The Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, and the Solar Boat Museum are yours for the viewing. Then it’s on to the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the 13 other pyramids of Sakkara. Djoser’s Pyramid is the first and oldest stone structure in Egypt.

King Tutankhamun and the treasure of the Great Pharaohs await at Egypt’s National Museum of Antiquities. Old Cairo and its Roman Fortress of Babylon will charm you, as will the Suspended Coptic Church, one of the oldest in the region. Go back in time to the 1100s and the birth of Islam at the citadel of Salah El Din, the Alabaster Mosque and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
